A 2003 MFA graduate from the School of Film/Video of the California Institute of the Arts, Erika Vogt has continued to make films and video while managing a successful transition into the art world. Her work has been exhibited at the Orange County Museum of Art, D' Amelio Terras Gallery (New York), State Center of Contemporary Arts (Moscow), Hammer Museum, Centre d'Art Contemporain (Bignan, France), LACE, Museum of Modern Art (New York), Centre Pompidou (Paris, France), Viennale (Austria), UCLA, Nouveaux cinémas/ Nouveaux média Festival (Montréal, Canada), Microwave Media Arts Festival (Hong Kong), Black Maria Film and Video Festival (New Jersey) and Anthology Film Archive (New York) among others.
Her first solo exhibition, Motor Post-Motor, Band-Disband opens at the Daniel Hug Gallery on May 10, 2008, and will run till June 30.
