Practice  by Cara King

Practice deals with dual conflicts. The story follows the struggle of a young sumo wrestler who is physically exhausted by a senior wrestler over the course of one practice. At thes ame time, a divergence in the structure becomes reflective of a personal transition from tourist to filmmaker.

Kabir Song  by Anal Shah

Kabir Song is based on the life of 14th century Indian mystic and poet, Kabir, who was most famous for his songs scorning religious affiliation. His life and death is surrounded by legends, where it is still unclear whether he was a Muslim or a Hindu. The camera follows a similar mystic as he walks the streets of Varanasi, a northern Indian city, singing the songs of Kabir.

This piece is about hysteria, the hypnotic power of commercialism and its persuasive nature. Every shot, minus the first few and last one, are reaction shots of the studio audience. They have not been rearranged or repeated and each one was included in the show's original broadcast.
